Matt Miller wins second ALMS
late model feature of the weekend

FREMONT, Ohio (May 30, 2005) - Matt Miller scored his second straight
American Late Model Series feature win of the Memorial Day weekend, by
dominating the 30-lap main at Fremont Speedway Monday.
MIller lapped up to fourth place on route to claiming the UUI feature over Jeep
VanWormer, Rusty Schlenk, Brian Ruhlman and Larry Kingseed.
"We switched cars to come to the smaller track and it was very fast. The water
they put on the track prior to the feature made it very racey. The lapped
traffic was difficult...I knew Jeep had to be there some place so I couldn't
afford to make a mistake," said Miller.
In the 305 sprints, Jamie Miller led from flag to flag in the 25-lap feature to
claim his first win of the season at Fremont to add to his four feature
victories at Attica Raceway Park.
"This car just seems to like the high side. It's a fine line between being a
hero or disaster up there and I've been both. It helps to start up front too,"
said Miller beside his Rowmark Plastics sprinter.
Former Fremont track champion Bryan Scott finished second, followed by Paul
Weaver, A.J. Sleek and Bill Kraylek.
Fremont Speedway will be back in action Saturday, June on Crown Battery Night
featuring the 410 sprints, 305 sprints and Coors Light Dirt Trucks.
